Privacy Policy

BlissCompass (“the app”) is operated by DX Labz Kft. (“we”). This policy explains what data the app handles and your rights over it. It applies to the BlissCompass iOS app, the web app at app.blisscompass.com, and the browser extension.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and a hashed password, used to create and secure your account.
- Your content — the tasks, projects, roles, tags, time entries, ratings and notes you create, and the messages you send to the AI Advisor. This is the product: we store it so you can see it.
- Data region choice — whether your account lives in our EU (Frankfurt) or International (Dublin) database.
We do not collect analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, photos, or health data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Where your data lives
Your account and content are stored with Supabase in the region you chose at signup — Frankfurt (EU) or Dublin — and are never moved between regions. EU accounts’ data and AI requests are processed only through EU-resident infrastructure.
AI features
Advisor messages and note-correction requests are sent through our server to AI providers (OpenRouter; Pinecone for retrieval). For EU accounts, requests are pinned to zero-data-retention EU processing. Prompts are used only to produce your response and are not used by us to train models.
Dictation
Voice input uses Apple’s speech recognition, on your device or on Apple’s servers according to your iOS settings. We receive only the resulting text — we do not record, store or transmit audio.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties beyond the processors above (hosting and AI processing), which act under contract for us.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept until you delete it. You can delete individual entries and tasks in the app at any time, and you can permanently delete your entire account and all data in Settings → “Delete account…”. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Most are exercisable directly in the app; for anything else contact us at support@blisscompass.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
BlissCompass is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
